Tags become themes when they recur. Timeline shows monthly patterns, and Weekly Digest summarizes activity, connections, highlights, and unanswered Quotes.

Bring reading notes in
Kindle My Clippings, Readwise CSV or text files, and WeRead clipboard text can be previewed before import with duplicate and malformed item detection.

Keep ownership of your archive
Backups export JSON, restore supports merge or overwrite, deleted entries move to Recycle Bin first, and iCloud Sync is available for Pro users.

Answers to common questions
What is the difference between Quote and Your Words?+
Quote is borrowed material from books, articles, highlights, or other people. Your Words is your own response, note, judgment, or reflection.
How do I open Settings?+
Long-press the main screen to open Beyond Toolkit, then choose Preferences in the Settings group. About Beyond is in the same Toolkit group.
How do I turn on weekly reminder notifications?+
Open Toolkit, go to Preferences, and turn on Weekly Digest Reminder. Beyond requests iOS notification permission and schedules the reminder for Monday at 9:00.
Which sources can I import notes from?+
Beyond supports Kindle My Clippings.txt files, Readwise CSV or plain text files, and WeRead clipboard text.
How do backup and restore work?+
Open Toolkit, then Backup & Restore. Backup exports active entries as JSON. Restore can merge new UUIDs only, or overwrite after confirmation.
What happens when I delete an entry?+
Deleting from the edit page moves the entry to Recycle Bin and shows an undo toast. Recycle Bin supports restore, permanent delete, and empty all.
How do I write about an existing quote?+
Swipe a card right, tap Write About from backlinks, graph, weekly digest, theme, or timeline, or open a Daily Spark widget deep link.
What does Beyond Pro unlock?+
Pro enables iCloud Sync and unlocks deeper Theme Explorer and Timeline content. The first preview theme and latest month remain usable for free users.
Does Beyond read or upload my writing?+
No. Beyond does not read, analyze, or upload your writing to its own servers. Notes stay on device and, if enabled, in your Apple iCloud.
